These Terms apply to all users: landlords, property managers, tenants, and visitors.

2. Service Description

RentKee is a property management platform that enables:

  • Listing and managing rental properties
  • Processing rental applications
  • Managing leases and rent payments
  • Facilitating communication between landlords, managers, and tenants
  • Tracking maintenance requests
  • Generating reports and analytics

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use RentKee. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration

Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing:

  • Accurate and complete information
  • A valid email address
  • A secure password

Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • All activities under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Using two-factor authentication when available

We are not liable for losses from unauthorized account use.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Provide false information
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay applicable fees

You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

5. User Roles and Responsibilities

Landlords

As a landlord, you:

  • Warrant that you own or have authority to manage listed properties
  • Are responsible for accuracy of property information
  • Must comply with fair housing laws
  • Are responsible for lease terms and rent collection

Property Managers

As a property manager, you:

  • Warrant that you have authorization from property owners
  • Must manage properties in accordance with agreements
  • Are responsible for tenant communications
  • Must maintain accurate records

Tenants

As a tenant, you:

  • Must provide accurate information in applications
  • Are responsible for timely rent payments
  • Must report maintenance issues promptly
  • Agree to communicate respectfully

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use RentKee to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Scrape, data mine, or automatically access the Service
  • Circumvent security measures
  • Impersonate others
  • Engage in any illegal activity

Discrimination

RentKee prohibits discrimination based on:

  • Race, color, religion, sex, national origin
  • Familial status, disability
  • Sexual orientation, gender identity
  • Any other protected class under fair housing laws

Violators will be immediately removed from the platform.

7. Payment Terms

Subscription Plans

RentKee offers multiple subscription tiers:

  • Free Plan: Limited features
  • Pro Plan: $49/month
  • Pro+ Plan: $129/month
  • Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing

Payment Processing

  • Payments processed through Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
  • You authorize recurring charges
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancel anytime from account settings
  • Cancellation effective at end of billing period
  • No refunds for partial months

Rent Payments

  • RentKee facilitates rent payments between tenants and landlords
  • We charge a service fee for payment processing
  • Landlords receive payments via bank transfer (ACH)
  • Payment disputes should be resolved between parties

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (property listings, photos, documents). By using the Service, you grant RentKee a worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

  • Host, store, and display your content
  • Process and transmit your content as needed
  • Create backups for service reliability

Our Content

RentKee owns all rights to:

  • Service design, features, and functionality
  • Software, code, and algorithms
  • Trademarks, logos, and branding
  • Documentation and materials

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee:

  • That you will find tenants
  • That rent will be paid on time
  • That properties will be leased
  • Any specific financial outcomes

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentKee shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Damages exceeding fees paid in the past 12 months
  • Damages arising from user error or misuse
  • Third-party actions or content

11. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

Informal Resolution

Arbitration
